An adventure in the heart of the city
Let's paddle together through the rivers of Belgrade and experience the untouched nature in the very center of Belgrade!
The kayak ride with equipment and briefing takes about three hours and the tour length is about 7 km.
It is ideal for anyone who wants to try their hand at kayaking and take a break from the city noise for a moment.
It also includes a time out on the sandy beach with refreshments.
Belgrade has this wonderful opportunity to be able to offer two attractive locations for kayaking.
Great war island
It is located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, between the Belgrade Fortress and Gardoš. This unique Belgrade oasis is a nature reserve for over 180 bird species. The attraction of the Great War Island is the white-tailed eagle - the largest eagle in Europe.
Ada Ciganlija is the largest recreational oasis and outdoor picnic area. The symbiosis of islands, rivers, parks and lakes, enabled the presence of various sports, especially those on the water. In Serbia, kayaking has a long and rich tradition. Our kayakers have won more than 50 medals at various world and European championships. Five world championships were held on Ada. Enjoy and take advantage of its possibilities!
